My endless supply of off the shoulder tops makes summer so easy. I really like easy...I love not having to think and this outfit is a no brainer.  Acid wash is making a slow and steady comeback back into my life it's easy to pair it with anything ordered these jeans from Express. I'd been looking for something with that grundy 90's vibe but without it screaming 90's.

Leather shopping can be a hit or miss especially when in dress form. Managed to wear my version of the perfect dress. A pinch of edgy while I  try to channel my inner Cher Horowitz. Faux leather in this heat sounds like a death wish but surprisingly this dress just works.

My favorite part about living in my neighborhood is that all my friends are so close. The weekends are spent crowded outside a cafe laughing and catching up. This always makes me miss my old friends in Biarritz. 

I've been spending a lot of time trying to figure out my travel plans for August. Decided to meet up with Celine and some other friends to figure out which dates work. My look that day was probably my most relaxed its been in a while. Comfy vintage dress I picked up in SoHo the week before and my Pandora bracelet I specially picked out. Not sure if you can see it well in the photo but it reads NYC & BTZ. Both places I call home and if you didn't know, BTZ stands for Biarritz. It's nice to have the reminder of where I'm from everywhere I go...no matter where I am.

This week has been such a busy one, that sometimes it's nice to just take a couple hours away from everything and relax with friends. Decided to do just that on my friends roof before attending Macy's Bar III Shoe launch event last night. 

I feel like I live in basic's. I love having the perfect jeans...the perfect top and the perfect hat. Been trying to find the perfect boot to stuff baggy jeans into. These ones were at the Bar III launch and I knew I had to have them. I don't wear heels very often but these are really comfortable and have that rocker edge I really love.

Boy meets girl meets street. Wore this combo the other day after deciding that I wanted to look like a lady while running errands and going to meetings. I picked up these heels a couple days ago in Soho. I'd been looking for a comfortable heel that I could live in from day to night, these work.

It's funny how my style can either go from super tomboy to downright sexAy (notice what I did there with the "a"...yeah I thought so). I feel even though I might be sporting more skin than usual I still keep my tomboy vibes. Can't help it, you can't kick personal taste.

I'm loving this jumpsuit though. It's hot as hell in NY so a low v-neck is acceptable, or a bikini for that matter..or topless. Decided to pair this white ensemble with my Chloe flats. I believe I have worn them down...final days are so so sad.

Summer in the city has it's highs and lows. Depending on how you use your time life can be great or your days can go slow and slowly melt you away.  I just turned 26 and I feel the same. I still feel young and I still feel the same excitement I've always felt, but something's different. Not quite sure what yet, but I know it's something. I think maybe I've gotten my heart stomped on one too many times. These last two years have been tough on me and have helped me grow into the woman I am today and for that I wouldn't change a thing!!!
 If you are coming to NYC to fall in love I hate to break it to you...you probably won't but that's not a bad thing...because falling in love with yourself is better...plus when Open Ceremony has a sale it's killer and clothes tend to last longer than men here.
