One of my favorite things about living in New York is the food and the friends I can share it with…If I choose to share of course.
Had a little get together with Erica and Serena the other weekend, catching up at one of our favorite places downtown. We partnered up with Nine West for a fun Drunch as part of their campaign. So happy to be working with one of my favorite brands with my closest friends, seriously what else could I ask for?
Wore my Nine West boots with an all black ensemble (go figure right?) All of the shoes we wore really reflected our personal style. After lunch we shopped around Soho catching up… Did I mention shopping? Just my favorite thing ever. Be sure to tag #9WWeDoShoe on instagram and share how you do Drunch in your Nine West shoes!

Cardigan: Stories, Sweater: Primary New York, leggings: American Eagle, hat: Worth & Worth, socks: Woolrich, sandals: Teva, Socks: Woolrich bag: American Apparel.

I feel like my outfits roll in to each other. Same template different day sorta thing. I love the feeling of constancy and the fact that my entire wardrobe is different shades of the same. I've been cleaning out my room, decluttering and getting rid of a lot things. My teva's are not one of them, If you follow me on Instagram then you've probably seen my infamous morning coffee runs in them . Wore these the other day in SoHo. I felt like being comfortable, plus I've always been known to pretty much do my own thing when getting dressed.
Teva teamed up with the classic American brand Woolrich on an exciting collaboration. Teva's iconis Original Universal, paired with matching Woolrich socks...that I've also conveniently matched with my sweater cause yolo.
Available at teva.com, woolrich.com, and select Urban Outfitters locations. I actually have my eye on an all black pair cause I feel like I don't have enough black in my wardrobe, just kidding, but you get it.

I travel a lot and get to so many places, but something about being in Portland and meeting so many interesting local talent made me want to stay. Had the pleasure of working with Content and Ace Hotel for Content 2014.
For those of you who don't know what Content is let me explain!
Ace Hotel presents a fashion installation called Content in the guest rooms of the hotel. It's basically a living installation that each local Portland designer handcrafts. They bring to life an embodiment of their inspirations and identities. In a perfect world how they would love their collections to be showcased...ya following? It's freaking rad a hell and it's an experience. Met so many different talented  people that night! Older Brother , Rill Rill, Brand Lange to name a few. Some major damage happened at the Pop up shop and also major eye candy...the boys in Portland are prettttty cute. All in All an amazing night and something I hope to attend next year, but next time stay way longer 3 days was NOT enough.

I don't think one person can own too many matchy match sets. I don't think a person can have too much of anything for that matter. I'm my most comfortable when in a suit or anything that matches. I love the way it makes me feel and it's comfortable. Never been much of a heels type of girl. I'll do the occasional 3 inches but nothing crazy. I don't feel like I should have to need to dress feminine to be considered  or a woman. I am who I am and that's it.

Been thinking about starting a podcast so would love to know what sort of topics you'd like me to talk about. leave some feedback below I'll look over everything !

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and so many women have been affected by this terrible cancer. I feel like we've all had someone or know someone who's been affected which is why I wanted to bring Ouidad’s Curls for a Cure to your attention.

For those of you who don't know Ouidad is a hair company that specializes in curly hair that started the
Curls for a Cure program launched in 2002 to help raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It's such an amazing program because Ouidad matched customer donations dollar for dollar up to $50,000 a year!

I decided to play around with their Pink Curl extensions myself and get a little funky with it. My aunt is a survivor so this foundation and what Ouidad stands for means a lot to me.

You can purchase these extensions at Ouidad salons, on the Ouidad site and you can share your story on Naturally Curly.
