I feel like this past month has gone by so fast. One resolutions I tend to give myself every year is to life a little more slowly, taking the  time to enjoy every moment, but it can be hard to disconnect when we are surrounded by nothing but distractions! Now that New York is entering spring I can finally enjoy a nice walk to one of my favorite book stores, keep my phone in my pocket and read something I didn't find on Tumblr.

I partnered up with Timex to help countdown to Earth Hour which is a global movement for the planet encouraging us to all join the movement and turn off the lights.

In celebration of having participated in Earth Hour Timex is showed its commitment via an interactive microsite counting down the seconds until Earth Hour 2015.
On the microsite, you could make your own pledge, telling Timex how you used your “Time to Glo” during Earth Hour to positively impact the planet, and they’ll donate $1 to the movement (up to $50,000) for every pledge shared via social (just include #TimetoGLO) in your post.

I pledged this past weekend  to turn my lights off, light some candles, sit on my fire escape with my roommate and enjoy New York City. What did you do when it was  #TimetoGLO ?

On another cool note I'm giving away a Timex watch (seen here) One lucky winner will be picked art random. I'll announce the winner via social Wednesday Morning.
Rules are super easy:

Leave a comment below about how you take the time to enjoy the simple things in life!

So excited to share with you my newest campaign with the Shoeline.com family.
Above are a few of my favorite looks from the SS15 campaign shot in SoHo. Korkease is defiantly one of my favorite lines Shoeline.com carries. I've been having a little 70's moment so I guess gravitating towards that line would make sense.
Check out more from the shoot and other styles here.

Top: Jeans: A Gold E, Dry Shampoo: AG Hair

photography: Serena Goh

I've always been the type of person to hesitate when it comes to using dry shampoo. I always thought it was the product girls with straight hair used. Wrong. Actually very wrong! Us curly hair'd girls can use this too. It's now one of the first things I pack when traveling or if I need to refresh my hair real quick.

I recently discovered this new dry shampoo from a great brand called AG Hair and not only does it give you that refreshed feeling we all need after that day-old blowout ( you know what I'm talking about), but you can also pick a color that matches to your own hair color for a perfect blend.
Brought it with me to Paris because I can't stand doing my hair when I'm traveling and packed the tiny travel-sized one in my bag everyday.

We all apply products differently but if you see the photos above I take the top part of my bangs and make a tiny bun then spray the side parts, a little in the top middle and then shake. Sometimes I just need that extra shine & touch up, and this stuff really, really works!

Top : EXPRESS, Jeans: EXPRESS

Excited to share with you all a sneak peak of EXPRESS’ new One Eleven Collection – it’s made of super-soft fabrics that add that sexiness to your casual tops. My style is and has always been very comfortable. If you catch me running around the city, I will most likely be in jeans a basic T. I own more plain shirts than the average person and when I buy them, I buy in bulk… yes, I am that person. I tend to choose soft easy breathable tops that I can tuck into jeans. And after a couple wears, I then take my scissors and destroy them to make them "new" again. Gonna get a couple wears outta this new One Eleven Collection top before I get my own little DIY hands on em. Also the collection is selling out quickly so click here to get yours now! New styles will also be available beginning in June and I already have my eyes on a couple white T’s.

Jacket: Eileen Fisher, top: Reformation, Pants: Eileen Fisher, Hat: Otte, rings: Marion Claracq, Sunglasses: Stories, bag: Kenneth Cole.

Going home for me is all about packing light and feeling refreshed. It's basically spring in Paris and with fashion week going on and a bit of off time in between everything I decided to make the trip back home and clear my head and bring only the essentials.
I love the classic design and silhouette of EILEEN FISHER's new spring collection which happens to be the most eco conscious line yet (at 70%).  This paper lightweight suit ensemble is just what I need for the city days and nights. Attending presentations followed by dinner and drinks with friends.
Sleek oversized cuts making a statement in an effortless style.

Had the pleasure of working with a brand I've been teaming up with for over a year. My first styling job with Teva! I have to tell you this was such an exciting experience. Teva has to be one of the chillest companies out there and the fact I was given total control was such an honor.

For the styling I decided to go with a more vintage Spring Break throw back vibe, mixing prints patterns and textures. The new Teva collection is all about being free, letting loose and having fun with that "Spring Break" vibe I think we are all longing for during this terrible winter us New Yorkers are having.

I wanted the models to look like they were all friends and I, without giving myself too much credit, feel as though I accomplished that. Easy apres surf hair and natural makeup.
I tried to incorporate what the Biarritz kid would wear. Having grown up in a beach town, that wasn't too difficult.

The event space has such a rad vibe, each station showcasing the different creative direction for each new style. I have to say my favorite part was DIY'iny my own pair of Teva's. My friends who joined spent the entire time at the DIY station making their own custom pairs and getting glue on everything including their hair, but that's what I loved the most - that people had fun and felt and understood the brand. The connection is everything these day.

Overall it was such a pleasure to work with and meet the people behind the brand and I can't wait for you all to get your hands on what’s in store this Spring!
