This holiday season I want to make and drink more cocktails, but since I'm a responsible adult I'm not going to go nutty and stock up my bar with just anything! Campari is such a classic liqueur. A lthough the bittersweet aperitif is definitely an acquired taste, Campari cocktails are long in flavor and downright delicious.

I had the pleasure of not only working with Campari and attending the Campari Calendar starring Kate Hudson, but I was also lucky enough to sit with Kate at the round table. There were 8 of us in total so it's was very intimate, such a special moment. Seriously guys, Kate is stunning in person and extremely down to earth! I, of course, had to ask her some questions, one of them being who's your favorite Disney Princess? She's more of a Snow White kinda girl, I'm leaning more towards Jasmine.

After such a fun day with the Campari team, I had to go home and whip myself up a classic Negroni, There are SO many different drinks you can make with very little ingredients, but I happen to enjoy a good classic Negroni and, in my opinion, the best thing about drinking a cocktail is making it yourself. It just taste better.

You're gonna need this:

1 ounce of Campari
1 ounce of Gin
1 ounce of Sweet Vermouth
Garnish: 1 Orange twist

Feel free to play with the ratios in this formula and make the drink your own I personally like to add a little club soda for a little kick.

And remember, one of the cardinal rules when it comes to cocktail recipes: Nothing is Written in Stone

This is such a fun post for me for two reasons, first off it's the first shoot that's been taken living in my new place (and if you've been following along this is a big deal for me) and the second reason being a shop within Lord & Taylor I just discovered called Brand Assembly which focuses on emerging designers from around the world! I absolutely adore new underrated designers. Both my sweater and trousers are from Brand Assembly.
I paired this outfit with some retro-inspired B by Brian Atwood heels available exclusively at Lord & Taylor. They just came out and I was lucky enough to snatch a pair. And since I've been doing nothing but watching re-runs of the Kardashians, I bought a little pom-pom purse accessory from his collection as well - obviously so I could be more like Kylie...or is it Khloe ?
Since the holiday season is now in full effect, I find myself shopping more. Have your eye on something you like at Lord & Taylor? Check out their #FavoriteThings campaign for a chance to win them! This outfit definitely has a few of my favorite pieces from Lord & Taylor, what are yours?

Top: The Fifth Label, pants: James Jeans, bag: Lo & Sons, Sunglasses: Madewell,  Boots: Other Stories,

New York hasn't yet gotten the memo on fall so any chance I get on not getting wearing a jacket I take it. Since I moved this has been my go to outfit, unpacking is a harder task than it looks since I don't have a "place" for anything yet. The previous tenants left me a faux leather frat boy couch...it's big bulky and not my idea  of chic..it HAS to go. I finally found a cool sleeper sofa  (yes a sleeper sofa haha..i really wanted one for guest ).  It was under a thousand bucks, took a lot of diggin to find the "perfect" one but fingers crossed I got it!

If you've been following me on snapchat then you've probably seen parts of my room, but I'm slowly getting ready to show more..I've always been very private when it comes to showing my room or talking...I don't know why but talking is SO weird to me on snapchat. I think I can count the amount of times I actually talk on my snapchat....

Also I totally need help, have any sites you swear by for home shopping? Leave me a comment below I'll check it out !

dress: Anna Sui, shoes: Rachel Zoe

I've been filling up my closet with dreamy folk-like pieces similar to this Anna Sui

dress from Lord & Taylor. Anything that looks like I’m transported into a Mariee

Sioux album is, and has always been, my goal when picking out styles.

Anna Sui has that boho dreamy style I can't seem to get enough off that

inevitably brings out my (not so secret) inner romantic. Anyone who knows me

knows I'm a hopeless romantic that loves anything and everything about love.

Another designer that gives me that shabby-chic vibe I love so much is Rachel

Zoe. So I decided to pair up my peasant dress with a funky Rachel Zoe loafer.

Check out more of my favorite styles from the Anna Sui collection on Lord &
