Working with Missoni, has been one of my favorite shoots so far. We shot all around downtown at some of my favorite SoHo spots. It's always  been a dream of mine and I feel so lucky to have collaborated with such an amazing team of people.
Red is my statement  of choice and not just on account of my site being  convienentyly named after the color, so many of the pieces had this vibrant energy to them, My style is a reflection of my eclectic attitude and dynamic life...I've always dressed how I "feel" which is why it's every changing..and growing.
Take a look at my Missoni video below and enjoy a quick guide of my M Missoni New York City life.

It's been a while since I've had the time to actually post my personal street style. Been a bit backed up this past month, trying to make a conscience effort to go back to my roots and not forget why I started this site in the first place.
My blog turned 5 years old in February...(Never been very good at remembering dates). After 5 years Trop Rouge & I have grown so much, heck even after a month I feel like I've changed. Thank you for continuing to read and follow me. Without you guys many things would be not possible...so thank you.

This all white ensemble has been a recent go to. I use to be scared of something that could dirty so quickly, but quickly remembered I'm not a child and should be able to handle not spilling everything on myself, also the fact that these jeans repel spills helps.

One of my favorite things about doing what I do is learning about new brands and all the different nonprofit organizations.  I don't just go on Tumblr and laugh at gifs. I'm also passionate about women's right and the hope for a brighter future for so many families in need, which is why I love working with brands that give back or have a purpose!

I recently collaborated with Spanish shoe brand Pikolinos; behind the Maasi  Project. It's unbelievable the good this project does. The profits are returned to Maasai women.  As a result of this amazing nonprofit foundation these women are able to earn their own paychecks and the opportunity to send their children to school.

It seems crazy since we wake up with food in our pantries and the idea of being forced to go to school was legit torture for me growing up.  But to know that each sandal tells a story, about a Maasai woman and her determination for a better life for her and her family it's simply amazing. Really makes you appreciate what you have...nothing should be taken for granted.

Pikolinos has invited William Kikanae Pere, the Maasai Tribal Chief from Kenya, to Harry's Shoes in New York on April 25th (1pm - 4pm / Broadway &83rd) to meet with consumers and promote the Maasai Project with Pikolinos. It's a way to raise awareness for the Maasi Project which has successfully promoted both economic and cultural sustainability as well as tell the stories of the people who help create the collection...click here to read their story!

Packing for a festival was very simple since I'm the easiest dresser I know.  I managed to pack the same style shirt in about 7 different colors and about 5 pairs of jean shorts. I like to have options of the same style, which might be only a little weird.
Wore these EXPRESS denim shorts on the last day paired with a slouchy T-shirt also from EXPRESS. Last summer I lived in these cut offs almost every day, now I have another pair to call my favorite.

Coachella wouldn't be anything without all the fun parties and events before the actual festival. I had such a fun time hanging out with friends, dancing to music and just relaxing at the PANDORA Jewelry Experience. One of the cool things about PANDORA is that it isn't just jewelry. It's the story of you. It's self creation. #ArtOfYou
Friends and I hung out at the Parker Estate to premier their festival fashion style with Siwy Denim. It was so unique from any other party, every runway style was different!
Before leaving I definitely stocked up on some (okay maybe a lot) of the jewels for the festival, which are now permanently glued to my fingers.

All Apparel: Missguided

Photography: Serena Goh

Festival season is right around the corner and I couldn't be more excited to kick off the best time of the year with my first capsule collection with Missguided!
I've been having a serious 70's moment and instead of going for my black uniform I tend to wear every year. I'm incorporating more color and Woodstock vibes into my wardrobe.

This summer I've teamed up with Missguided, for  Gov Ball, which happens to be one of my favorite festivals because it's right here in New York.  Misguided really has everything you need for festival gear. I'm not the type of person to plan out my outfits I love practical lose fitting pieces that are easy to move around in. This fringe jacket from Missguided is such a versatile piece, just one of the many different pieces from the Festival Collection that you'll see me wearing everyday. Check out more festival looks and get inspired here.

Top: FCUK, Jeans: Storets, shoes; Dear Frances, Polish: "The Matchexclusively at Sephora

Something I talk about a lot is having the perfect staple. The perfect white shirt, the everyday denim, the little black dress...see where I'm going with this?
As a woman it's nice to have that signature look, something we can always rely on, the "Go To" if you will.
Which is why when I was approached by Formula X to collaborate on the launch of their new product it was a no brainer.
I already have my signature lipstick, but I always find it hard finding the right polish. My biggest fear was going into a store searching for a color and looking at a trillion different shades that just didn't work for me.

Formula X joined forces with the Sephora makeup pro team figuring out the most flattering shade for our skin tone.
Now with "The Match" (sold exclusively at Sephora) you can chose a shade that fits your skin tone. I picked the medium to deep set. The nude color ‘Evocative’ is the perfect everyday signature look I usually wear and the darker red ‘Curiosity’ is great for night time or meetings, when I'm pretending to be an adult. The other two shades are really rad for summer.

I'm been trying to save money by cutting down, so I've been doing my own nails. This is an actual fact. I've not done my nails in almost two months! Its a great $$ saver and as we all know everything counts!! That's another thing I love about The Match Clix!..it's tiny enough to just throw in your bag or do your nails in the cab something taxi drivers do NOT like haha.  Just pop it out do your thing then click it back in.

On another equally as cool note I'll be taking over the Formula X Snapchat so please follow me there tomorrow (April 3rd) I'll be running around all day. Feel free to follow them on Instagram @formulaxnail  #ColorThatClix
