Packing for Barcelona today to attend Primavera with Diesel as their Denim Eyewear Ambassador and getting excited about bringing this silk lil number with me. I need something to wrap my body in when I'm done doing canon balls in the pool.

Suits & shorts: ONIA
I've always been the type of person to overdo it when packing swimsuits, since I never know how I'm going to feel. It was my first time in The British Virgin Islands sailing on the Alquila Vela catamaran. This beach get away was much needed and thankfully Onia fully stocked me up on all the suits I needed.

Hope you're all enjoying your Memorial day weekend and spending it at the beach, if not then maybe you're like me and stuck in the city looking at everyone else's beach photos or my blog, haha.
(both options are good)

Traveling with swimwear brand Onia and my best friend Justin was such a fun experience, don't think I'll ever forget some of the memories I made. We took these photos when we visited Baths (I hope I'm naming it right, correct me if I'm wrong!)

I've always been drawn to matching pieces. I secretly which I could just have a uniform, that way I could just wake and go...no thinking needed.

With this up and down hot weather I've been sticking to tanks and lose fitting jeans. And leaning on strangers cars.

As you can see I've been getting back into the grove of things, a lot more street style posts are on the horizon, due to popular demand via tumblr.
Feel free to follow me on tumblr, I'm on it every single second of the day and am always doing Q&A's.

Did your mind explode yet, are you scrolling down to see if I turned the dress into a tank top to wear with baggy jeans? (which..now that I think of it, would be a really cool idea). Summer is the only season I feel like a woman...like a real girl guys! I hope my mom reads my blog cause she'd be happy to see my transition of teenage angst to basically just dressing like a girl.

Sometimes before I meet her she'll text me asking if I'll wearing "something nice". God forbid I show up in a baseball hat and cut off's. She takes it as a personal attack, thinking I went out of my way to "look bad" My favorite is when she says this in a sad voice as if she's about to break out in tears.

" Did you do this on purpose, Are you dressing like this to hurt me ?"

Yes mother... because I never want to get married. It's quite possibly the funniest thing ever. Oh mom, I love you.

Dress: EXPRESS, Hat: Worth & Worth, shoes: Kenneth Cole

I picked up this red Express halter dress just after I got back a week in the British Virgin Islands, it's perfect length to show off my bike shorts and pretend I'm at the beach again.

I found the perfect cross between my bed sheets and a dress. Now I can walk out my house feeling like i'm wrapped in my sheets, which is how I open the door most Monday morning or anytime before 9am to be honest.

Really loving the tight sleeve thing going on and tie detail on both sides which allows the perfect amount of side boob.

This week I've been listening to the Norah Jones station which plays anything but her, weird right? Pandora really needs to step up their game. Other than that life have been good and summer is here.

My friends who know me well know that if they need anything makeup related, I'm the go to person. I own a product in every color. Even though I don't wear much myself, I do love to have options.
I really do love makeup and I love Paris based jewelry designer Yaz Bukey’s Plexiglas signature accessories. The adorable packaging and pop-art color palette of the Yazbukey for shu uemura summer artist collaboration collection really stands out and I'm excited to be apart of their newest #AlterShuGo influencer campaign!!

Most of the time my style as well as my makeup routine is pretty easy going & natural, but with this collection, I took on the challenge to show my #AlterShuGo side. Smart Lola: smart, reserved, sharp well centered and understated which is why I went with a sweet pink matte lip" and paired it with "retro styled waves, denim off the shoulder top.
Mr. Uemura once said " I strongly believe that makeup should enhance a person's individuality.." And I couldn't agree with him more.

Green happens to be one of my favorite colors yet I never thought of wearing it like this. Usually I tend to keep my lids clean, but I absolutely love the idea of channeling my AlterShu and honestly these colors are more wearable than you'd imagine. Especially with my skin tone. The green really brings out my tan, courtesy of St. Thomas (haha).

I feel as though this post has been long overdue. I pretty much owe you guys a step by step, but taking this little by little since I have yet to film a proper tutorial.

I'm a severe product junkie and adore trying out new creams to hydrate my terribly dry face. These are all products I purchased with my own money except for the Shu Uemura face mist which was a gift but doesn't defeat the fact that it's incredible.

Here we go:

- After washing my face I applied the Kiehl's "Midnight Recovery Eye" cream. It's suppose to restore your eyes removing those not so cute dark under eye circles. (I guess in two weeks I'll let you know if it actually works or not since it's literally brand new)

- I applied the Aesop  face oil on my hands rubbing them together to heat up the oil and then patted it all over my face. (don't use too much a small dime size is perfect otherwise your face will become a tad oily since it's pretty potent)

- The Kiehl's Serum is pretty amazing and also extremely hydrating!! Normally I follow serums with a face cream, but instead I decided to follow it up with the Chamomile mist from Shu Uemura.

Would love if you guys commented below and shared some of your favorite beauty products!

There is something so sexy about basic's and being comfortable just wearing what makes you happy and being comfortable in your own skin, wore this in SoHo last week. The weather was perfect everything about this day was smooth.
Happiness is so important for me and I feel like I've sacrificed so much of my personal happiness for other people, whether it be for friends or boys. I turn 27 in a month (I'm a cancer baby.) I want to start these first couple days of spring/summer doing things for me and concentrating on all things good. the past two plus months have been super tough and stressful. Hiding how I really felt and not opening up, pushing back so many emotions I didn't even know how to feel in the end.

Just know that if you feel or have felt this way before you aren't alone and sometimes certain things happen so we can grow again... or wake up.

If you ever want to talk you know where to find me (here)

Prepping for summer is exciting, but not always an easy task, especially for this tom boy over here (yeah I'm talking about me).
I can't help it; I'm single and honestly New York's been so cold the mere idea of sitting on my fire escape in shorts seemed like a dream, until only a couple days ago.

I don't know about you, but I  get super picky with new products, especially when they're going on my skin. I've just recently been introduced to EOS Shaving cream, although I have a friend who swears she let me use some of hers a couple months ago, haha. I would have remembered though, because it's hands down the best shaving cream I've ever used in my life. I don't throw around this word a lot...but I'm obsessed.

I leave for St. Thomas tomorrow and it's a day before and I just started packing.  I'm that last min type of packer, the girl that throws stuff in her suitcase two hours before her flight because she overslept! People do change, or as my mother would like to put it "grow up”, so I'm making sure I don't forget the important stuff and pack all of my must have items, which obviously includes the EOS shaving cream… I'm going to be in a bikini, so you know the drill.

Follow me on Snapchat..I swear I don't talk about my day and how much cooler I am than you..mainly cause I'm not.
