Lede Image look 1

So happy to finally share with you my collaboration with CoverGirl and The Cut. Growing up my mother was pretty strict about me wearing makeup at a young age I remember watching her get ready in the morning and one of the brands that always stood out to me was CoverGirl, so naturally I was over the moon to be working with a brand I basically grew up with. I remember asking my mother to do my makeup when we were living in Paris and she applied a soft pink blush from Covergirl. It's funny the little memories you remember as a child.
One thing I love about CoverGirl other than the fact that it makes my skin look great is how many different shades I can work with and their cream eyeshadow. Check out more on The Cut

Dress: Express, necklace: Express

With the holidays right around the corner there is really no time to waste when it comes to holiday dressing. It's this time of year that I find myself looking for the perfect dress I can wear with anything and anywhere. I love low hanging backs and sexy cut outs. This dress from Express has both. I decided to glam it up a bit with a bold necklace, but for colder nights it can also be worn as a skirt layered under a chunky sweater. I felt like keeping it simple yet chic this time around.

If you know anything about me, then you know that I'm a big advocate of healthy radiant skin. We all have our routines and I certainly have mine. Ever since I saw my roommate Justin use Bioré Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, I was super curious as to how they would work on me. I spend about 10 mins in the morning washing my face, putting on serums, applying balm and day creams. I swear my friends think I'm crazy because I never care how late I might be because I have to take the time to take care of my skin. It's the most important part of my day and it's the first thing people see. This was one the first times I had used the Bioré Deep Cleansing Pore Strips and I love how it fits perfectly into my schedule. Needless to say I loved the after effect. I tend to get a bit of gross black heads and it helped diminish those right away!! Super easy to use and quick!

Before it gets too cold for me to post anything with short sleeves might as well take full advantage before the cold front, which basically happened yesterday but whatever.

Some newly added pieces to my wardrobe I love even though I feel the weather is getting more and more chilly.

Sweater: AG, Jeans: AG, shoes: ASH

I own more sweaters and white pants than the normal human...I know this because I sneak into all your homes at night and count...kidding, but really I do.
Since I like to pretend I'm taller than I actually am (I'm 5'8 but who's counting) I tend to wear more cropped styles. AG is really good with making ME look good so most of my favorites happen to come from them.

Coat: Forever 21, dress: Other Stories, boots: ASH, bag: Jack Germain

Trending in my brain: Oversized everything, chunky boots and short hair I can no longer put into a bun, which actually makes me sad cause I miss my long hair but it was getting damaged and I needed it to grow and not fall off.

New York has been getting these on and off hot days, so whenever I get a chance to pretend it's actually Fall I take full advantage.  Forever 21 has launched a new premium outerwear collection that I obviously had to get my hands on. I love a big oversized winter white for cold days. Its's the perfect way to add that extra layer onto an outfit. I decided to pair it with an equally oversized dress to edge up the outfit, keeping it tomboy chic. The coat has such a chic vibe to it that pairing it with something baggy gave it that downtown vibe.

Excited to share with you guys my Vans Holiday collaboration shot at some of my favorite locations in New York. Loved working with Vans on this project, because it's such a fun east going brand, but with everyday essentials.
For me overthinking how to get dressed is how to ruin an outfit. Effortless is always the key. I paired the suede leopard kicks with some colorful jeans to add a little kick to my outfit, plus anything with zippers in a sure win for me, I love the option of cropping my jeans.

Jacket: Capulet (or here), sweater: French Connection,

Just recently I got asked a question on my Tumblr if I kept up with technology and I answered as  truthfully as I could
and always do. "As long as I can understand it"  It's true, when I don't understand something I don't use it.
I've recently discovered and teamed up with a new app called House Account. It's a mobile network that connects shoppers, boutique owners and designers.
Now another question I get asked almost every single day is where I love to shop and as much as I love answering the same questions over and over again sometimes it's easier for you to just take a look yourself.
The House account App is super simple to use, I can see all the shops I love in my neighborhood, and discover new ones. Below are just a few of the stores I follow:
Below are a few of my favorites : In Support of, Soho Holiday Collective popup,  Kirna Zabete (becaus
e a girl can drem right?) I found this sick hat at "In Support of" I commented on the photo and in less than 2mins I got a response back from the sales person that the hat was in the
store and available!....This saves me so much time.
It's extremely interactive and for all those snow days coming it's a great way to find out about an item without even leaving your house, chatting directly with shop owners and store sales people.

I really suggest downloading http://appstore.com/houseaccount
It's easy and it's fun.

Finally time to pull out the winter coats! Took these photos when it was warm enough to do the whole coat on the shoulders thing. Now that New York has decided what temperature it wants to be...not so appropriate. Today is legit fezzing and as much as I was sick of the heat, I sorta want it back.
Iro has basically never failed me in anything and this coat has gotten me more compliments than I can count, It's time to make room and get rid of my other coats that unfortunately no longer make the cut, sorry guys it's not you it's me.
